Hibernation Sickness

An intermittent transmission from somewhere in metropolitan France to somewhere across the Atlantic.

In which I maketh announcement

Since I have such an extensive and far-ranging group of friends that I don't necessarily talk to everyday, I will use my blog as an updater. I have made a somewhat sudden decision to return to college. More time has passed than I realized and at some point the "break" becomes "life as a failure." So, I am taking 4 classes where I read a lot of books and write about them everyday. More fun than working 8 hours a day, for sure. So far I am functioning reasonably well and waking up before 5:00 pm, so all is well. With any luck (but really more like effort), I will join the rest of you and your younger siblings back in the world of normal middle-class graduates.

Blacksburg is not so bad as I may have made many of you think. Sure, when you obsess over elite schools that are better it looks bad, but the summer is nice, breasts are large and nubile, and almost all of downtown is internet-ready. The latter, of course, is the most important. Feel free to visit--my roommate is single/brown/attractive!
